Lombokvibes.com, Lombok Utara- Kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla) terjadi di Dusun Orong Kelas, DesaSokong, Kecamatan Tanjung, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Senin (08/10/2023).
Beruntungnya, Kapolsek Tanjung AKP Remanto, SH bersama anggotanya dan tim pemadam kebakaran langsung ke TKP (tempat kejadian perkara) setelah menerima laporan dari masyarakat.
Kapolres Lombok Utara AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro S.I.K M.Si., melalui Kapolsek Tanjung Tanjung AKP Remanto SH mengungkapkan, setelah tiba di lokasi, mereka langsung melakukan kerja tim agar api tidak menyebar dan meluas ke lahan lainnya.
“Alhamdulillah, setelah 4 jam tim bersama dengan masyarakat bisa memadamkan api. Sekitar pukul 20.30 Wita,” terang Kapolsek.
Upaya pemadaman dilakukan secara cepat mengingat cuaca masih ekstrem, yaini kemarau panjang yang terjadi beberapa belakangan ini.
Dikatakannya juga, upaya pemadaman dan penyelidikan titik-titik api kecil sebagai pemicu kebakaran juga terus dilakukan dengan cepat mengingat keadaan geografis lokasi kebakaran tersebut yakni perbukitan, karena dikhawatirkan titik-titik api tersebut dapat membuat api menyebar semakin luas.
“Mencari semua titik itu memakan waktu yang cukup lama ,tetapi karena keadaan lahan berbukit, dan suasana mulai gelap maka agak mudah untuk mendeteksi titik api,” imbuhnya.
Kapolsek pun mengimbau agar masyarakat tidak membuka lahan dengan cara dibakar. Hal tersebut dikhawatirkan nantinya api tidak bisa dikendalikan dan meluas ke tempat lainnya.
“Apalagi sekarang musim kemarau panjang ditambah dengan angin, dan muda-mudahan tidak terjadi hal serupa dan semoga masyakarat lebih faham serta mengerti bahaya dari kebakaran lahan, dan kami selaku pelayan masyarakat tetap akan memberikan himbauan dan ajakan agar tidak membuka lahan dengan cara membakar, ” tutupnya.
