The trend which is driven by the entertainment industry fastly influence the public taste. Thus, the fashion industry also needs to follow the happening needs. Buying fast fashion is cheap and we cannot be said ‘outdated’, but why we need to just stop?

A lecturer at LaSalle college Indonesia, Dino Augusto, who has been teaching creative industry revealed bad side of fast fashion industry.
Fast fashion industry produced clothes in 52 seasons which means 52 times. Therefore, every weeks, there always be new stuffs.
This industry produced new things everytime, and in a time, it aimed to create the outdated feeling to those who have not bought it. This method is created in order to make cosumers want to buy again and again. And they will produce lots of productions and gain lots of money and money again. And who cares about the negative impact of this thing?
In fact, the impacts of this fast fashion industry are really horrifying!
First, since this industry produced in 24 hours, therefore the carbon emission and the waste also produced in 24 hours.
Secondly, the workers or labors in fast fashion industry are paid in a low wages. It is under the minimum wages standards. And of course, it is not fair for the workers.
Last but not least, since the fast fashion are produced very swift, therefore they always need non original thread which is syntetic thread or chemical thread. The worst fact of this is, this kind of material cannot be parsed.
“And it only become wastes,” said he.
The wastes will be thrown in a land field or vacant land just like in Ghana or will be thrown away to South China sea.
